👉 The Arjuna Award is an honor presented by the Government of India to recognize outstanding achievement in sports. It is one of the country's highest sporting honors. 

👉 The award is named after Arjuna, a legendary character from the Indian epic Mahabharata, known for his exceptional skills in archery.✔️

👉 Athletes from various sports, who have consistently performed well at the international level and have shown qualities of leadership, sportsmanship, and a sense of discipline, are eligible for the Arjuna Award. 

👉 The award consists of a bronze statue of Arjuna, a scroll, and a monetary reward.✔️

👉 Recipients of the Arjuna Award are considered to have made a significant contribution to the promotion of sports in India.
